Product information
Pyrinex 48 EC, 1 litre is an organophosphorus insecticide with a special formulation that is used for foliar insect pest treatments. It is a contact action insecticide which, due to its special properties and formulation, is widely used, especially as a foliar treatment having a low systemic effect as well.
Benefits:
- Contact action against insects;
- Great results in pest management programs;
- Penetrative and remnant properties;
- Formulation allows the spread of vapours on the application;
- Economic, cost-effective.
Action mode of Pyrinex:
- It offers broad-spectrum control over insects in crops;
- After application, part of the product gradually evaporates and acts against insects by means of inhalation;
- Acts on contact and ingestion. It is absorbed quickly into the superficial tissue of plants where it is consumed by feeding insects;
- Inhibits cholinesterase in insects, leading to their elimination;
- After application, the product provides long-lasting control.
Methods of application:
- Apply as soon as the economic damage threshold during summer has been reached.
- Use normal levels of solutions, depending on the plant species, age of the crop, and assure even coverage of the foliage. Pay special attention to the upper levels when treating trees.
Woolly apple aphid:
- use a brush to cover cracks in the bark of infested trees using 0.2% Pyrinex 48 EC.
Potatoes:
- Pyrinex 48 EC is only used to combat Colorado larvae and adult beetles, and is recommended for integrated pest control programs for this particularly dangerous insect. Products that work well along it are Rimon 10 EC, Mavrik 2 F, Lamdex 5 EC, and other products from different chemical classes.
Tomatoes (seedlings):
- Pyrinex 48 EC is applied by spraying at the appearance of the first flies, using normal volumes of solution, 1000 liters per ha.
Grain cereals:
- Treatments are done in the fall, after sowing and growing the crop, with normal volumes, using terrestrial application equipment. Thanks to the very good product retention in the superficial soil layer (2-4 months), Pyrinex 48 EC provides protection against the attack by Zabrus tenebrioides even for later infestations.
Fruit trees:
- Apply as soon as the economic damage threshold has been reached during the summer months to combat test bugs and lance paddock. Normal volumes of the solution are used depending on the species and the age of the plantations so as to ensure uniform treatment of the tree crowns, including inside them and on the branches where these pests are usually installed (especially in the upper part of the trees). In order to control the lanes paddle, it is also possible to brush the wounds or cracks from the bark of the infested trees with colonies with a 0.2% Pyrinex 48 EC solution (on low-sized trees and on smaller surfaces).
Withholding periods:
Cereals - Treatments are applied during fall, using normal volumes of solution, and using terrestrial application equipment. Pyrinex 48 EC protects against the attack by Zabrus tenebrioides even for future infestations.
Compatibility:
Can be combined with fungicides, herbicides, insecticides, liquid fertilizers, and growth regulators, following the recommendations on the product label.
Consult the compatibility labels and perform a small-scale test when combining crop products.
Recommendations:
The necessary volume of water is calculated depending on the type of equipment used, the crop, and the targeted insect.
