Product information
Pyrinex 48 EC is a broad spectrum organophosphorus insecticide. Pyrenex, containing the active substance: chlorpyrifos 480 gr / liter is an organophosphorus insecticide which, due to its special properties and formulation, is widely used, especially as a foliar treatment.
Mode of action and use:
The active substance, chlorpyrifos, is an inhibitor of cholinesterase that acts by contact, ingestion, and respiration. It also has a weak partial systematicity, but it determines the absorption and retention of the product in the superficial tissues of the treated organs. Also, after application, part of the product gradually evaporates and thus combats some of the harmful and respiratory insects. Thanks to its long-standing retention, Pyrinex 48 EC also provides long-lasting pest control.
Fruit trees - Pyrinex 48 EC to be applied as soon as the economic damage threshold has been reached during the summer months to combat test bugs and lance paddock. Normal volumes of the solution are used depending on the species and the age of the plantations so as to ensure uniform treatment of the tree crowns, including inside them and on the branches where these pests are usually installed (especially in the upper part of the trees). In order to control the lanes paddle, it is also possible to brush the wounds or cracks from the bark of the infested trees with colonies with a 0.2% Pyrinex 48 EC solution (on low-sized trees and on smaller surfaces).
Potato - Pyrinex 48 EC is only used to combat Colorado larvae and adult beetles, and is recommended in integrated pest control programs for this particularly dangerous and potentially high insecticide pest killer, along with chitin inhibitors (Rimon 10 EC ), synthesis pyrethroids (Mavrik 2 F, Lamdex 5 EC) and other products from different chemical classes.
Tomatoes (seedlings) - Pyrinex 48 EC is applied by spraying at the appearance of the first mussel in the hotbed, using normal volumes of solution (1000 l / ha).
Grain cereals - Treatments are done in the fall, after sowing and growing the crop, with normal volumes, using terrestrial application equipment. Thanks to the very good product retention in the superficial soil layer (2-4 months), Pyrenex 48 EC provides protection against the attack by Zabrus tenebrioides even for later infestations.
