Product information
Pyrinex 25 CS is a micro-encapsulated organophosphorus insecticide with a broad spectrum of control. Pyrinex 25 CS is an organophosphorus insecticide which, due to its special properties and formulation, is widely used, especially as a foliar treatment. The active substance, chlorpyrifos, is an inhibitor of cholinesterase that acts by contact, ingestion and breathing. It is incorporated into uniform size microparticles with a uniform synthetic membrane with special diffusion properties dispersed in a water-based inorganic solvent.
Mode of action and use:
After spraying the product, the microparticles reach the plant and, after evaporation of the water that has served them as transport medium, begin to crack forming fine pores where the active substance from the inside is gradually dissipated. Due to its lengthy retention and the gradual diffusion of the active substance, Pyrinex 25 CS ensures the preservation of the insecticidal effect for long-term pest control.
Fruit trees (apple, plum) - Pyrinex 25 CS is applied as soon as the economic damage threshold has been reached during the summer months to combat test lice and lance paddle. Normal volumes of solution are used depending on the species and the age of the plantations so as to ensure uniform treatment of the tree crowns, including inside them and on the branches where these pests are usually installed (especially in the upper part of the trees) . In order to combat the lanous paddle, it is also possible to brush the wounds or cracks in the bark of the infested trees with colonies with a 0,3% Pyrinex 25 CS solution (on low-sized trees and on smaller surfaces).
Wheat - Pyrinex 25 CS ensures successful control of the weevils (Eurygaster spp.) By means of treatment at warning.
Maize - Pyrinex 25 CS may be used to combat adult invasions of Diabrotica virgifera virgifera (western corn worm). Terrestrial application equipment is used and, if necessary, treatment can be repeated (in case of invasion of insects from untreated lines). Applying the treatment is done at visual alert, during the stitch period - paniculum, and at densities above the economic damage threshold of 10 adults / sq. M. In the case of entomological traps, the economic damage threshold is 7 adults / yellow trap / 24 hours.
Treated plants: Apple, Plum, Wheat, Maize, Rape
