Mode of action and use:
The active substance clofentezin interferes with cell growth and differentiation during the final stages of embryonic development and initial stages of larval development of the mites. Therefore, it has no activity on adults, but due to its residual effect, when applied to adults, the maximum effect of control can be ascertained after 2 weeks of treatment on the next generation of mites. Like any ovicidal acaricide, it is recommended not to apply more than one treatment with Apollo 50 SC per season in order to avoid the occurrence of resistance.

Fruit trees - Preventive treatments against winter eggs (Panonychus ulmi) before hatching. In apples, treatment with Apollo 50 SC can be done starting from pungent to pink button (before blooming). The plum is treated from white to full bloom, while on peach the treatment is from the fall of the petals to the binding of the fruit. If treatment is done later, Apollo 50 SC will be applied together with an acaricide-adulticide, so as to combat the mobile forms. Normal volume volumes are used and the full sprinkling of the tree (from all sides) is sought.

Vine - Preventive treatments are done before blossoming, when the first adults of Panonychus ulmi usually appear, providing a standard of 0.4 l / ha (usually in 1000 liters of solution). The treatment equipment must ensure adequate spraying including less exposed parts of the vine (especially the lower part).

Vegetables - Apply splashes with normal solution volume, when the first mobile forms of mites are created, with spraying terrestrial means.
