Tomigan 250 EC, 1 litre

Tomigan 250 EC, 1 litre is a selective herbicide designed for post-emergence and pre-emergent applications in wheat crops and corn crops. Its special formulation allows for efficient control of a wide range of annual and perennial dicotyledonous weeds. It uses Fluroxypyr as a main active substance, it comes with a very wide application window and its role is to combat wheat field weeds.

Action mode:
Tomigan 250 EC allows for efficient protection of wheat crops against invading weeds:
- The active ingredient(Fluroxypyr) is quickly absorbed by the targeted plants and translocated both upwards and downwards and causes a typical auxin reaction in sensitive plants;
- Weeds stop growing immediately and suffer chlorosis effects, and are eliminated within 7 to 10 days;
- Fluroxypyr disrupts plant cell growth in newly formed stems and leaves. This affects protein synthesis and normal cell division, which leads to the development of malformations and tumors in affected weeds.

Methods of application:
Applications can be performed starting with the twinning stage up until one month before harvesting.
Treatments are recommended when weeds are in the phase of 2 to 4 leaves(dicotyledonous weeds), although results are also achieved in later stages of plant development.
Applications are made using 200 to 400 l per ha, in calm weather, avoiding spray drift onto sensitive crops.

Dose:
Wheat, postemergence - 0.8 l per ha.
Wheat, preemergence - 0.4 l per ha(together with sulfonylurea or 2.4 D products)
Corn - 0.8 l per ha when applied alone, 0.5 - 0.6 l per ha when applied together with other products.

Compatibility:
Compatible with most of the crop products available on the market.
Before mixing with other crop protection products, perform a small-scale compatibility test.
Not compatible with highly alkaline products.

Recommendations:
- Use when the outside temperature is higher than 6 ° C;
- Treatments should be performed when external temperatures are higher than 6°C, optimally between 10-25°C;
- Late application (before harvesting a month) to wheat is often the only solution for heavily floured crops that can not be harvested mechanically in the absence of treatment;
- Application is made with a normal volume of water (200-400 l / ha) and in quiet weather to avoid drift on sensitive crops;
- DO NOT APPLY to cereal crops after which legumes are to be set up.
