Powertwin SC, 5 litres is a herbicide that combines two active substances, in equal amounts, to grant enhanced protection of beet crops by controlling invading weed species.

Action mode:
Powertwin SC is a herbicide for beet crops:
- Ethofumesate is an active substance from the group of benzofurans, with root absorption properties, that inhibits the growth of meristems by interrupting cell division and cuticle formation in sensitive plants;
- Phenmedipham is an active substance from the carbamate group that acts mainly by foliar absorption and prevents photosynthesis in sensitive plants;
- Rain or crop irrigation is required to activate the residual effect.
Methods of application:
Two sequential applications are done at a dose of 2 l per ha, with 300 l of water.
The first treatment is made in the cotyledon phase - 2 leaves, and the second one at reinfestation, in the same phenophase.
The second treatment will not be performed less than 5 days after the first one.
The product works very well when the growing conditions are optimal for weeds (optimal temperatures, sufficient humidity, light).
Compatibility:
Compatible with most of the crop products available on the market.
Before mixing with other crop protection products, perform a small-scale compatibility test.
Powertwin SC is compatible with metamitron-based TORNADO SC and GOLTIX 70 WP herbicides at approved application rates.
Recommendations:
Avoid spray drift onto adjacent crops.
Do not spray onto waterways.
It is not recommended to apply the product to crops affected by stressors (frost, pest attacks, puddles, phytotoxicity due to incorrect treatment, etc.).
The treatment will not be done when the outside temperature exceeds 21°C.
