Product information
Leopard 5 EC is a post-emergence herbicide, used to control annual and perennial monocotyledonous weeds in sunflower, potato, sugar beet, soybean, alfalfa, beans, rapeseed, vegetables
Benefits:
It has a systemic action to control grass weeds and is selective for dicotyledonous crops.
Weeds will wither only a few days after treatment
It does not create remanence problems for the post emergent culture
Action mode:
- Thanks to the active substance quizalofop-P-ethyl Leopard 5 EC has a systemic action, it controls grass weeds and is selective for dicotyledonous crops.
- It is absorbed into the leaves of weeds in about 2-3 hours and is distributed in all points of intense growth, including roots and rhizomes.
- By inhibiting lipids in meristematic cells, it causes weeds to disappear. After a few days of application of the herbicide, the treated weeds stop growing, and the young leaves acquire a yellowish hue.
- About 2 weeks after application the whole plant dries.
- The product acts faster when the weeds are in a younger phase of growth, and the vegetation conditions are optimal for growth (sufficient humidity, heat, light).
- The product achieves an excellent control of perennial grass weeds, especially weeds and does not create remnant problems for post-emergence culture.
Methods of application:
- Apply in post-emergence treatments
- For annual monocotyledonous weeds, apply until the twinning phase, and for the perennial ones apply when plants have reached a height of 15-20 cm
- To obtain the maximum control effect, apply the product when the weed growth stage and vegetation conditions (temperature, humidity, nutrient reserve, light) are met - For crops such as rapeseed, sugar beet, transplanted vegetables such as tomatoes and bell peppers, potatoes, beans, alfalfa, peas and sunflowers: the recommended dose is 0.7 / ha.
For crops such as sugar beet, soybeans, fruit bushes, nurseries, the dose can vary between 1,1.5 and 1.75 l / ha.
Compatibility:
There are no compatibility specifications, but it can be used with an adjuvant to increase efficiency.
Recommendation:
To improve effectiveness, it is recommended that this herbicide be applied in combination with an adjuvant.
Leopard 5 EC is applied with well-adjusted terrestrial herbicide equipment in a normal volume of solution.
