Product information
Concordia 306 SE, 5 litres is an Adama professional herbicide with systemic action, designed to combat dicotyledonous weeds in cereal crops. It consists of 6.25 g/L florasulam and 300 g/L 2,4-D acid (as 2- hexyl ethyl, 452.4 g/L).
Benefits:
- complex formulation based on 6.25 g/l florasulam and 300 g/l 2,4-D acid (as 2-ethylhexyl ester, 452.4 g/l)
- selective action with fast absorption
- not toxic
- florasulam stops the growth of sensitive weeds in just a few hours after application
- stable under normal conditions of storage and handling
Action mode:
- Florasulam inhibits the enzyme acetolactate synthase (ALS) and the symptoms appear in the first phase in the upper meristematic region of the plants, in the form of chlorosis and necrosis.
- Complete drying of the weeds can occur in 7-10 days, under normal pedoclimatic conditions, but can take up to 6-8 weeks under less ideal conditions.
- 2,4-D acid acts on the process of growth causing abnormalities in the weed structure, subsequently leading to their necrosis. It is mainly absorbed by the leaves and translocated to the meristem.
Methods of application:
- apply post-emergent, in the spring, when both the crop of interest and the weeds are in the active phase of development
- perform a single treatment and apply per crop and per season and avoid dispersion of the solution on neighbouring crops while performing the treatment
- use an amount of solution of 250 – 400 L/ha, and apply uniformly over the entire surface, with ground means specific to the herbicide of field crops, well regulated, in the absence of wind
- Preharvest Interval (PHI)- covered by the growing season.
Compatibility:
Compatible with most of the crop products available on the market.
Before mixing with other crop protection products, perform a small-scale compatibility test.
Recommendations:
- The optimal time to apply the treatment is at BBCH: 12 – 32 of the crop of interest (2 leaves until the appearance of the second internode), and the weeds must not exceed 20 cm.
- Do not carry out the treatment at an outside temperature below 8 °C or above 25 °C, as well as in freezing conditions. Applied according to the recommended doses and under normal climate conditions, the product does not produce phytotoxicity phenomena.
- The effectiveness of the product may be diminished if the treatment is applied before or during a prolonged drought.
Please be sure to read, understand, and follow the full Conditions, Disclaimer, and Directions for Use. Use the appropriate personal safety equipment if required and when needed.
