Product information
Surefire Glyphosate 360 is a non-selective herbicide in water solution. It is absorbed by plant foliage and green stems and is translocated through the plant until it reaches the roots. The effects of Surefire Glyphosate 360 are not visible for 3-7 days (annual weeds) depending on weather conditions, weed species, and herbicide use rate. For perennial weeds, this time can be longer, up to 10-20 days in cool and cloudy conditions.
This herbicide will control emerged weeds only and does not provide residual weed control. It’s not recommended to apply it before or after rain. If the rain falls up to 6 hours after applying it, its effect can be reduced. The best results can be achieved when the weeds are actively growing.
Crop establishment:
Surefire Glyphosate 360 is recommended to control emerged weeds prior to crop establishment. Suitable cultivation and sowing actions are required to provide the seedbed satisfactory conditions for crop germination and development. If you incorporate green or decaying vegetation and roots into seedbeds by sowing or cultivation it may cause retarded crop emergence mainly if the weather is cold.
Mixing:
-The spray tank should be free of any previous chemicals. The tank may be cleaned with a suitable cleaning agent.
-Fill half of the tank with clear water, add the necessary amount of Surefire Glyphosate 360, then fill with clear water. Add nonionic surfactant last. Don’t use muddy water because it can reduce its effectiveness.
-Agitate well the recipient before using it, try to avoid excessive foaming.
-When you mix in the tank multiple compatible solutions add this product after other water-soluble products but before flowable. Do not mix with spraying oils.
SURFACTANT addition :
For this herbicide is recommended to add a 100% non-ionic surfactant at the 300 mL/100 L ratio, or more for diluted surfactant.
Application:
Direct spray contact or even a slight drift may cause destruction or severe injury of any growing crop or other desirable plants including trees.
Clean every piece of equipment after use by washing it thoroughly with water.
Boom equipment: Use suggested rates of Surefire Glyphosate 360 in up to 200 L of clean water per hectare. Fan nozzle equipment is recommended and using pressures up to 240-280 kPa.
Knapsack and Handgun Equipment: Adjust the equipment to achieve a fine spray pattern, a D6 spray tip or equivalent and operating pressure of 400-700 kPa are suggested. You should apply to ensure complete and uniform wetting of all foliage.
Wiper equipment: Ropewick applicators may be used to apply Surefire Glyphosate 360 onto weeds growing in oilseed crops, sugarcane, seed and pod vegetables, cotton, tree, and vine crops specified in its label. Avoid contact with desirable vegetation. Best results are achieved at lower speeds and if they were made double passing. If the weeds are variable in size or develop in dense infestations of clumps, some plants may not be contacted by the herbicide solution and the treatment should be repeated.
Tank Mixtures
Mixing instructions for all tank mixtures:
-Fill the tank ⅓ to ½ full with water and start agitation.
-If crystalline ammonium sulfate is recommended, wash 2 % of w/v through the top mesh screen into the tank and mix thoroughly.
-Add recommended herbicide/insecticide to the spray tank and mix thoroughly.
-Add Surefire 360 and the remaining water. Mix thoroughly.
-Add surfactant, if required, ner t6he end of the mixing process to avoid foaming.
-Always maintain adequate agitation during application and use tank-mix promptly.
Precaution: DO NOT store, mix or apply the product or solution in unlined steel or galvanized containers, as highly flammable gas may form. Use copper, brass, aluminum, plastic, plastic-lined, fiberglass containers, or spray tanks.
Storage and Disposal:
Store in the original container in a cool, well-ventilated area. Do not store in direct sunlight. Do not store with fertilizers, seeds, foodstuff. Do not use the container for any other purposes. Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on site. If recycling, replace the cap and return the clean container to the designated collecting point. If not recycling break or crush the container and bury it below 500 mm in a disposal pit specifically marked and set up for this purpose.
Safety directions:
This product will irritate the eyes and the skin. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. When preparing the solution and use the prepared spray wear cotton overalls buttoned to the neck and wrist, elbow-length PVC gloves, and a washable hat and face shield or goggles. Wash hands arms and face after use and before eating, drinking, or smoking. Wash the safety equipment after every use.
