Centurion Plus
A convenient, easy to use formulation for selective postemergence grass control in broadleaf crops and forestry, it allows broadleaf crops to thrive without grass weed competition. It provides an excellent grass weed control tool for farmers growing forage crops such as brassicas and lucerne, clover seed and vegetable growers.
This product is very effective on a wide range of grass species especially wild oats, poa annua and ryegrasses.
Forage Brassicas: Kale, Rape, Turnips, Swedes, Hybrid forages e.g. Hunter/Pasja
For the control of seedling grass weeds in establishing brassica forage crops. Apply when grass weeds are small, typically 3-6 weeks after planting and before the crop canopy closes. Grazing Withholding Period: 3 Weeks.
Forage Herbs : Chicory, Plantain To control annual and perennial ryegrass and other grass weeds. Do not apply Centurion Plus to plantain seed crops after flower heads are first visible in the base of the plants. Grazing Withholding Period: 3 Weeks.
Legume Feed Crops: Lucerne, Clover, Lotus and Trefoil For the control of annual and perennial grasses: Remove stock and allow grass weeds to freshen up for a few days. Apply Centurion Plus at the rate recommended for the species present. Grazing Withholding period: 3 Weeks
To control broadleaf weeds Centurion Plus may be safely tank mixed with Radiate and Uptake oil. Follow the label directions of all products when tank mixing.
Important application details
Control is usually best when grasses are treated at the seedling stage. Once grasses reach the tillering stages then the higher application rate needs to be applied.
Active growth is essential as any stress that reduces growth makes plants more difficult to control. As plants mature and go to seed they become more difficult to control.
Compatibility
• Do not apply in combination with other herbicides unless experience shows that efficacy is not affected
• Centurion plus is compatible with Gardoprim®, Versatil® and Radiate®
• Do not apply within 7 days of phenoxy herbicides as efficacy of Centurion Plus may be reduced
• Do not add crop oils or surfactants to the tank
