Product information
Amdro is a slow acting granular bait that has an unique mode of action with high efficacy against both the queen and the ant nest. Plus it incorporates an attractant for specific ant species.
Active substance: Hydramethylon 7.3 g/Kg
The treatment with Amdro should be applied in such way to ensure a conitnuous treatment zone against subterranean termite infestations. Altriset termiticide can be applied with various techniques such as: wall void injection, wood injection, exposed soil, treated backfill, trenching, rodding, sub slab injection, foaming and is recommended for treatments in infested buildings and other areas with a risk of infestation from subterranean termites.
Combat pests: Singapore ant (Monomorium destructor), Coastal brown ant (Pheidole megacephala), Tropical fire ant or Ginger ant (Solenopsis geminata), Red imported fire ant (Solenopsis invicta) and Greenhead ant (Rhytidoponera spp.)
Once the granular bait has been applied, worker ants will come and carry it back to the nest and feed the queen and other ants. Death will occur slowly within 1-4 weeks, resulting in a massive death rate of both queen and a large number of the ants. By identifiying the exact species of ant you may obtain better results when applying the treatment.
