MODE OF ACTION
TOMIGAN 250 EC contains fluroxypyr, a totally selective active substance against wheat.
It is absorbed in plants by leaves and rapidly translocates both ascending and descending and causes a typical auxinic reaction (including leaf twist) of sensitive weeds some hours after treatment.
Sensitive plants immediately cease growing and enter the chlorosis process from the top, and within 7 to 10 days they are totally destroyed.
Herbicidal action is usually sufficiently intense even when the application of the product is in advanced stages of weed development.
Also, TOMIGAN 250 EC can be applied to wheat from the twinning stage before harvesting a month without affecting production, thus being a product with a very wide application window.
Make sure that when applying the TOMIGAN 250 EC the outside temperature is greater than 6 ° C, the optimum temperature range being between 10-25 ° C.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR APPLICATION
Treatment with TOMIGAN 250 EC is applied post-emergence; In order to reduce competition with wheat plants, it is recommended that the treatments be applied in the 2-4 leaf stage of dicotyledonous weeds, although the product is also active in advanced weed vegetation phases, and for wheat crops it has total selectivity.
