Being held this year in San Diego, California between 15th and 18th October, the National Pest Management association offers opportunities for information sharing, provides access to the latest products, services, and technologies for its thousands participants.
As every year, PestWorld is attended by owners or managers of pest management companies, as well as technicians and sales representatives, alongside manufacturers, distributors, and industry researchers.

BASF

STUCK brands
In 2013, STUCK researchers began their design process for creating a lethal, autocidal gravid ovitrap (AGO) that targets to fight off the population of Aedes aegypti mosquitoes, a vector of common mosquito-borne diseases. The goal was to create an effective AGO mosquito trap that people will use without much effort and without the use of batteries, lights, fans, pesticides or harmful chemicals; so it is safe to use indoors.
STUCK falls under the umbrella of Novelty Manufacturing Co, a Lancaster, PA-based developer and manufacturer of consumer and industrial goods in the insect control and lawn and garden industry. Liphatech
Liphatech is a worldwide manufacturer of pest control products. They are the developer of three of the industry’s active ingredients: chlorophacinone, bromadiolone and difethialone, and the palatable bait matrices to carry these active ingredients.
Liphatech, known as Lipha in the early days, began in 1946 in France to develop anticoagulants for the treatment of heart patients. They developed the first of the active ingredients, chlorophacinone, in the 1960s and branded it as Rozol, a family of products that includes grain and pelleted products for field and structural use and a tracking powder for use in and around structures. In the 1970s, they developed bromadiolone, the original second-generation rodenticide active ingredient. Rodents can consume a lethal dose in a single night’s feeding, with the first dead rodents appearing four or five days after feeding begins.
The innovations continued with the opening of our U.S. facility in 1987. Research there and in Europe resulted in the discovery of difethialone during the late 1980s, with EPA registration as an active ingredient in 1995. Their most recent innovation is the development of soft bait rodenticides. As The Soft Bait Innovators, Liphatech continues to bring rodenticides to market in soft bait formulations that are easy to use, effective and palatable.
Liphatech also markets the world’s leading slug and snail bait, Metarex. Metarex, based on the active ingredient metaldehyde, helps the producers prevent costly damage in specialty agricultural crops such as artichokes, citrus, grass seed or commercial nursery and ornamental plants.
Vectorfog
Vectornate is a company established in 1990, in South Korea, by GJ Yeom, and engineer specialised in molecular technology. Initially focusing on manufacturing tools and household appliances, including vacuum cleaners, washing machines and refrigerators under the Samsung brand, the company then shifted its focus on creating fogging equipment, especially one focused on using ULV technology. In 2005, GJ Yeom began to develop and patent the first spray nozzles that use ULV. Vectorfog then appeared as a division of Vectornate and was established in the UK in 2009, while starting to supply fogging equipment and pest control supplies.
Bell Laboratories
Dealing with rodent control products and ways in which to fight rats and mice, Bell Laboratories produce the highest quality rodenticides, tamper resistant bait stations, glue boards, attractants and traps.
