Held on 16th-17th March 2022 at the ExCeL Exhibition Centre, London, the BPCA PestEx event showcased the latest scientific development in pest control, as well as new technology and innovation, brought together at UK’s biggest conference and trade show of the industry.
A must-see trade show and exhibition, PestEx is meant to bring together anyone involved in the industry of Pest Control. From pest control technicians, applying the new and improved technologies, to pest management business owners, the exhibitions and conferences held at PestEx are meant to provide a new view on the recent developments in the industry.
PestEx also attracted thousands of visitors over the two days, coming from all over the world. As always, visitors were able to attend seminars, conferences, and demonstrations, see the latest products of the industry and visit the wide range of manufacturing, distributing, and service companies that exhibited their work.
Seminars and technical programmes were presented by industry experts, exhibitors and key organisations, meant to bring updates to the latest industry news, present new developments and innovations, as well as host case study sessions to highlight the importance of pest management and share knowledge across the sector.
Syngenta
Syngenta is a Swiss biotechnology company, focused on producing pesticides, seeds and flowers. It has five product lines for pesticides, more exactly herbicides, non-selective herbicides, fungicides, insecticides and seed care, and also three product lines that focus on the development of corn, soya and other field crops vegetables. They focus not only on-farm pest control but also on residential and commercial ones, developing a broad portfolio of products that match any need, in any situation.
BASF
BASF is a German chemical company with subsidiaries in over 80 countries in the world. It currently produces a wide range of chemicals such as solvents, amines, resins, glues or electronic-grade chemicals, but they also place great emphasis on the production of fertilizers and pesticides. This latter division produces fungicides, herbicides and insecticides. Investing in the research and development of new products each year, BASF Urban and Rural Pest Control delivers smart solutions for pest management professionals.
PelGar International
PelGar International is a company meant to develop and supply innovative products to the pesticide market. They focus on rodenticide and insecticide products, using active substances that are available in a wide range of formulations, managing to provide cost-effective control methods. Their products aim to maximise the efficacy against the targeted pest, whilst using methods in which to minimise any risk again the environment, non-targeted species, and most importantly, any risk to the user.
CatchMaster
Part of the AP&G company, CatchMaster is a brand introduced in order to focus on developing adhesives for pest management applications. Being a leading manufacturer of rodent traps, but also fly and insect management, AP&G has developed the CatchMaster brand with a green initiative, as they offer a full range of no-to-low toxicity products. With no poisons, no toxins, and no harsh chemicals the CatchMaster traps can be used in any pest management program.
Bayer
Bayer AG is a German multinational, chemical, pharmaceutical and life sciences company. Being first known for the development of aspirin, Bayer has grown throughout the years and expanded its research in the industry of pest control as well. The Bayer CropScience part of the company has developed crop protection products such as pesticides, alongside other means of non-agricultural pest control, as it produces various fungicides, herbicides, insecticides, and some crop varieties.
Victor Woodstream
Dealing mostly with rodent control, Victor Woodstream is a trusted brand name since 1898. They revolutionised the rodent control market with their spring-based trap, invented over 100 years ago. They continue to develop innovative, quality products, meant to meet all the needs of their consumers, whether it’s with dealing with a rodent infestation, or only trying to prevent one. They pride themselves in their humanely and safely way of eliminating rodent problems, through their wide range of traps or rodenticides.
Bell Laboratories
Dealing with rodent control products and ways in which to fight rats and mice, Bell Laboratories produces the highest quality rodenticides, tamper-resistant bait stations, glue boards, attractants, and traps. As they have a wide range of products developed and produced through innovation, they have become a market leader in the pest control industry.
SM Bure Co. LTD
SM BURE Co.,Ltd. has been investing in the field of sterilizers and sprayers and became one of the world’s top suppliers of such equipment. Their technology has developed for the past 20 years until they have become recognized as the leading supplier of sterilizers and sprayers in Korea.
Russell IPM
Russell IPM is known for providing pest monitoring and control solutions that simplify the trapping of both small and large pests. They design and manufacture pheromone lures and biopesticides and are constantly developing new products, in order to best serve the agriculture sector, stored product industries, or home and garden markets.
They also deal with crops protection and control, with the help of digital traps, pheromone monitoring and integrated pest management.
Killgerm
Killgerm Chemicals is a UK based company known as the leading pest control product supplier and provider of training and technical support. They believe that the basis of good pest management is knowledge and they offer a wide variety of courses for different levels of experience and knowledge from basic principles of pest control, to specialist courses and RSPH qualifications.
Killgerm Group takes a very serious view of its responsibilities to the environment. They operate an industry-supported waste disposal scheme whereby redundant pesticides or used packaging are disposed of.
