PestEx is known to be the largest UK trade exhibition and conference for the pest control industry. Being held every two years by the British Pest Control Association in London, PestEx 2017 gathered in two days a bit over 2,600 visitors from all over the world. Whether they are business owners, technicians, consultants or public health authorities, these visitors were able to find the latest innovations and developments in the industry of pest control.
The 2 day event covered seminar programmes, and technical sessions meant to provide the latest news in the industry, as they are presented by experts or members of key organisations that are also present as exhibitors at PestEx. All the sessions are free, as they welcome everyone interested in the subjects at hand, such as new ways of reaching your target market and presenting your pest control know-how. The business and technical seminars this year presented topics such as ways in which to deal with invasive species or new bird control methods like the laser technology, in an effort to improve the knowledge regarding the latest trends in the industry.
Beside the conference part of PestEx, the exhibition half gathered around 115 stands for the most important suppliers in the business. They have brought their newest products and presented their latest innovations, in an effort to grow network opportunities and create relations between the participants to the exhibition. This year also marked to 75th anniversary of the BPCA, which proved that the interest in the industry of pest control has been steadily growing from a dozen of pest management professionals that met 75 years ago, to an astonishing number of over 2,600 people, interested in the future of public health pest control.

Bayer AG is a German multinational, chemical, pharmaceutical and life sciences company. Being first known for the development of aspirin, Bayer has grown throughout the years and expanded its research in the industry of pest control as well. The Bayer CropScience part of the company has developed crop protection products such as pesticides, alongside other means of non-agricultural pest control, as it produces various fungicides, herbicides, insecticides, and some crop varieties
Birchmeier
Birchmeier is a Swiss manufacturer of sprayers, foamers, compression sprayers, wheelbarrow sprayers and hand sprayers which can be used in the garden or in any other aspect of the agricultural industry. They offer a wide variety of products, with an international distributor network, not only for their products, nut for their accessories as well. Designed to be durable, their sprayers are known for their high quality, which is based on their ongoing process monitoring, their level of flexibility, as well as constant improvements in quality and their products in general.
CatchMaster
Part of the AP&G company, CatchMaster is a brand introduced in order to focus on the developing adhesives for pest management applications. Being a leading manufacturer of rodent traps, but also fly and insect management, AP&G has developed the CatchMaster brand with a green initiative, as they offer a full range of no-to-low toxicity products. With no poisons, no toxins, and no harsh chemicals the CatchMaster traps can be used in any pest management program.
PelGar International
PelGar International is a company meant to develop and supply innovative products to the pesticide market. They focus on rodenticide and insecticide products, using active substances that are available in a wide range of formulations, managing thus to provide cost effective control methods. Their products aim to maximise the efficacy against the targeted pest, whilst using methods in which to minimise any risk again the environment, non-targeted species, and most importantly, any risk to the user.
MouseStop
MouseStop is a company part of the pest control industry since 1990. It is best known for its sealing paste against rodents and other pests. The barrier they have developed through this paste works as an immediate block for the rodents, and can be used across a diverse market of sectors. As it does not contain any pesticides or biocides, but is manufactured from natural ingredients, the MouseStops products can safely be used in hygiene sensitive areas such as food manufacturing and preparation facilities.
Russell IPM
Russell IPM is known for providing pest monitoring and control solutions that simplify the trapping of both small and large pests. Syngenta is a Swiss biotechnology company, focused on producing pesticides, seeds and flowers. BRC
