FAOPMA – the Federation of Asian and Oceania Pest Managers Associations is a non-profit organisation meant to promote and develop the industry of professional pest management. Established in 1989 by members from Asian and Oceanic countries, FAOPMA’s best way to promote the industry of professional pest management is through a gathering of the best brands involved, as a way for them to share their newest products, and methods and also exchange knowledge, information and experience regarding specific issues that might appear in their region.
The event of this year has been the FAOPMA-Pest Summit 2022, taking place in Kyoto, Japan, on 6-8 November 2022.
The Japan Pest Control Association (JPCA) in association with the Federation of Asian & Oceania Pest Managers Association (FAOPMA) organised the FAOPMA-Pest Summit 2022. The conference was held as a hybrid event and included 37 presentations showcasing some of the greatest speakers in the world. It also showcased a symposium focusing on Climate Change and the pest control industry, located at the Kyoto International Conference Center, which was the site of COP3 and where the Kyoto Protocol was established. All talks and the symposium were live broadcast and translated into numerous languages for the online delegates.
