Product diversity and benefits

Bayer’s success in insecticides is due to a vast array of expertise in this domain and also, due to the continuous innovation of their products. Throughout the years, Bayer CropScience has gained an excellent portfolio, offering their normal range of products, but also personalized ones. Bayer’s insecticides can be used in several sectors, such as hygiene and public health sector, in places such as homes, offices, hospitals, hotels, various public places, restaurants, canteens, food processing industrial units, slaughterhouses, warehouses, shopping centers, shops, public transport areas, and many more.

All their insecticides are biodegradable, and they do not accumulate in the surrounding environment. They do not soil, stain, or leave visible marks on the treated surfaces. Bayer’s rodenticides are also perfect for use in the hygiene and public health sector, or in pest control actions for controlling all species of rodents in urban, rural, and industrial areas.

Their products are made in the form of concentrated emulsions or suspensions, conditioning that provides an optimal balance between biological effectiveness, safety, and application remanence, both for the operator and for the beneficiary of the action. Being biodegradable, these products also have a high photostability, they do not stain and are not inflammable. Due to these properties, Bayer’s insecticides can be used against a large spectrum of pests, such as cockroaches, flies, fleas, bed bugs, moths, beetles, earwigs, ants, etc.

Besides the agricultural side of the company, they also develop new molecules for use in innovative products and solutions to improve health as well. In their goal of achieving and sustaining leadership positions in their markets, Bayer creates value for their customers, stockholders, and employees.

Their Pharmaceuticals Division mainly focuses on prescription products, such as those meant for cardiology and women’s healthcare, but also covers the areas of oncology, hematology, and ophthalmology. Bayer also markets products meant to fight gastrointestinal issues, allergy, cold and flu, but also deals with cardiovascular risk prevention.
They also have a division named ‘The Animal Health Business Unit’, which deals with products and services for the prevention and treatment of diseases in companion and farm animals.
